Google Flights Will Now Pay You Back

Through its new “price guarantee” pilot program launched in April, Google Flights promises to pay travelers the difference if their ticket price drops anytime after booking. ✈️

The airfare rebate feature only applies to round trip and one-way flights (not multi-city flights) departing from the US that are marked with a colorful price badge. This signals that Google’s algorithm is “confident” that the price won’t get any lower.

Remember to book your flights using the “Book on Google” option. They’ll monitor the price and reimburse you through Google Pay.

when you are booking it will be the option with the Google colored icon next to it. I’ve done it and got back a seeet rebate because one flight price on an airline I was not flying with had dropped. It works. I always look for it but haven’t seen it recently
